Finally Meeting face-to-face in the IDEEA Forum

Following the long and successful tradition of PACE (Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education), IDEEA hosts annual forums to provide a platform for academia, students and industry to meet, exchange ideas, foster collaboration and make new friendships.

Scientific presentations on cutting edge research and education build an essential part of the “IDEEA Forum”. But even more important: It is the event to showcase the outcome and process of the IDEEA Global Collaborative Project. International and interdisciplinary student teams present their product concepts – virtually and physically. They use an additional pre-conference phase to work together in labs and to meet after several months of online collaboration.

Each year the Forum takes place at a different member institution. In 2019, the IDEEA Forum was held at Tec de Monterrey, Mexico. In 2020 it was planned in Wuppertal, Germany but had to be canceled due to the pandemic. For the same reason, 2021 was held only online.

The upcoming meeting will be hosted by the University of Monterrey and takes place in July 2022.
